Privacy policy

Last updated: April 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how AdSign (“AdSign,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit adsign.live (the “Site”), use the AdSign digital signage platform and related services (the “Services”), or otherwise interact with us.

By using the Site or Services, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or Services.

1. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Information you provide. For example, when you contact us, request a trial, or use the Services: name, business name, email address, phone number, billing details (processed by payment providers where applicable), and messages you send.
  • Account and usage data. Such as login identifiers, organization details, device or screen identifiers you register, content and schedules you upload, log and diagnostic data, and support communications.
  • Technical data from the Site. Such as IP address, browser type, general location derived from IP, pages viewed, referring URLs, and timestamps. We may use cookies and similar technologies as described below.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
  • Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and process transactions;
  • Communicate with you about the Services, security, and policy updates;
  • Analyze usage to improve product experience and performance;
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Legal bases (EEA, UK, and similar regions)

Where required, we rely on one or more of: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (such as securing and improving the Services, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights), consent (where applicable), and legal obligation.

4. Sharing of information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who assist us (for example, hosting, analytics, email delivery, payment processing, customer support tools), subject to contractual protections;
  • Professional advisors where necessary (for example, lawyers, auditors);
  • Authorities when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security;
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, with notice where required by law.

We do not sell your personal information as that term is commonly understood in privacy laws.

5. Cookies and analytics

We and our partners may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies on the Site for essential functionality, preferences, and analytics (for example, to understand traffic and marketing effectiveness). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect Site functionality.

Where we use product analytics (such as PostHog or similar tools), we configure them to support our legitimate interests in understanding usage while limiting unnecessary collection. Specific tools may change; this policy will be updated for material changes in practice.

6. Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and context; contact us for more detail about your situation.

7. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International transfers

We may process information in Canada and other countries where we or our providers operate. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights, contact us as below. We may need to verify your request.

10. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. California residents

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete, and correct certain personal information, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising where applicable. We do not sell personal information in the conventional sense; contact us to exercise rights.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on the Site and change the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice as appropriate.
